America’s Best Cleaners Represents the United States in Round Table Discussions at CINET World Professional Textile Care Congress

America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) represented the United States in two Round Table Discussions at the CINET World Professional Textile Care (PTC) Congress held on November 8, 2024, in Frankfurt, Germany. The PTC World Congress focused on business development in professional textile care. It brought together global experts, including textile scientists, engineers, industry leaders, and cleaners, to discuss trends, challenges, and solutions. Key topics included customer service, market growth amid domestic competition, and sustainability in the global circular fashion economy. Within the framework of the World PTC Congress, CINET presented 6 Round Table Discussions on KEY-Topics for all participants to take home new ideas for implementation. Chris White, America’s Best Cleaners Executive Director, participated as a panel expert and shared his over 35 years of experience on environmental sustainability and industry trends in North America. The first panel, \"Professional Textile Care for a More Sustainable World” which focused on sustainability and increasing the lifetime and circularity of garments. White reiterated his focus and message to the global industry, \"The professional textile care industry must present itself as the ready-made solution for extending the life of garments and advancing the circularity movement. As the fashion industry undergoes this transformation, we have the expertise, technology, and sustainable practices to lead the way and create an immediate impact.\" White also participated in the panel \"Professional Textile Care - Consumer Services,” which explored the expectations of private clients in textile cleaning.

America’s Best Cleaners Joins American Circular Textiles Group (ACT) in Support of Circular Fashion

America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) is pleased to announce its membership in American Circular Textiles Group (ACT), a Circular Services Group (CSG) effort aimed at driving circularity in the United States. ABC will be the first and lead representative organization for the repair, renewal and restoration portion of the circular fashion economy for ACT. As an ACT member, ABC will continue to raise awareness of domestic circular fashion opportunities. ABC was recently listed as part of the ACT Action on the Federal Trade Commission’s Green Guides and is working to promote this policy document to clients and political leaders. ABC encourages its Affiliates to build sustainable businesses through its environmental efforts and “Earth Day is Every Day” mentality.

Launched on January 13, 2025, this collaboration will allow Retold to expand its impact by making recycling easier and more accessible through ABC’s wide network of affiliates. The partnership between Retold and ABC is built on a shared mission: to tackle textile waste and keep it out of landfills. By combining their strengths, the two organizations are working toward a more sustainable future and are empowering consumers to make better, more eco-friendly choices.

America’s Best Cleaners (ABC), in conjunction with American Circular Textiles (ACT), is leading the garment care industry in support of the America’s Act, a groundbreaking bipartisan bill that incorporates over $14 billion in tax, grant, and loan incentive-based strategies for circular fashion-related businesses. ABC has played a pivotal role in bringing together organizations in the dry cleaning and manufacturing industries to support the act, representing a historic milestone in incorporating circular textiles into federal legislation. As an ACT member, ABC is working to drive the movement towards a more eco-friendly and socially responsible future and calling on its partners to rally together, ensuring that the America’s Act crosses the finish line.
